Nicole + Lyman: A Sainte Claire Hotel Wedding In San Jose

Romantic surprises on a wedding day are like a second helping of ice cream as a child, extra special and sweet.  Wedding days are always extraordinary and memorable but it really is a joy to see the bride or groom do something to make the day even more beautiful.  Over the years of photographing weddings, I’ve seen and photographed many of these special gestures, from a heartfelt note, to a meaningful gift, to surprising the other person with an unexpected moment throughout the day.  Nicole and Lyman are two very talented people and music has a special place in their relationship.  Lyman with his band had planned to preform at their wedding reception.  But little did he know, Nicole had also planned a performance of her own.  The look of surprise and happiness on his face was priceless and such a special moment to be a part of.

And their wedding day was full of lovely touches like these.  Nicole and Lyman were surrounded by such welcoming friends and family.  It was clear how much this special couple means to their guests and how much love surrounded their big day.  The Sainte Claire Hotel was the perfect spot for their reception filled with special fall details that reflected their warm autumn wedding day.
