Girl Time

We’ve been friends for 13 years or so.  The three of us met back in high school when we were figuring out who we were and what we wanted to become.  And as we’ve grown up, we’ve grown closer.  We all went off to different colleges after graduating high school but our friendship remained strong.  In fact, it’s only gotten stronger.  It’s hard to picture my life today without two of my favorite girls, Lauren and Jen.  Our schedules are busy and life is often crazy, but we always find time for just us.  Our girl time.  Since they both live out of town, our girl time has turned into girl’s weekends.  And I love them.  Since we don’t get to see each other as often as we would like to, its a time of catching up, swapping stories and bonding.

A few weeks ago, we were due for another girl’s weekend.  We headed to Apple Hill for a day of fun.  We’ve all never been and wanted to try something new.  And Apple Hill did not disappoint.  First off, it’s huge!  There are tons of different stops and we only made it to a few – High Hill Ranch, Fudge Factory Farm, Madrona Vineyards and Jack Russell Farm Brewery.  But we did get to experience a little bit of everything Apple Hill had to offer.

So many sweets, so little time.  The apple donuts were perfection.  And I loved watching how they made the carmel apples.

We had lunch at High Hill Ranch.  I loved the character and feel of this place.  A bit old-fashioned and simple.

And it wouldn’t be Apple Hill without boxes and boxes of apples.

We were referred to as the “boot girls” at High Hill Ranch.

My girls.  ♥

Next we headed to Madrona Vineyards.

If you are ever in the area, you must go to Madrona Vineyards.  They were so friendly and offer such a wonderful wine tasting.  Cheers!

Happy Friday!
